Montse Pinto Sala<\/a>, Director of ISDE Barcelona, participated in the event \u201cPhilanthropy and Social Action: Taxation and Good Governance as Levers of Impact,\u201d organized by Andersen in Spain<\/a> in collaboration with the \u201cla Caixa\u201d Foundation<\/a> at the CosmoCaixa<\/a> Science Museum in Barcelona.<\/p>\n

The event began with a presentation by Juan Ignacio Alonso Dregi<\/a>, Partner and Director of Andersen\u2019s Barcelona office, and Fernando de Rasche Santaolalla<\/a>, Counsel at Andersen in Spain. Roundtable I, focusing on public aid and tax incentives in philanthropy, was moderated by Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Parellada<\/a> and featured Alicia S\u00e1ez Lav\u00edn<\/a>, Pablo Morillo P\u00e9rez<\/a>, Juan Roda Moreno<\/a>, and Ana \u00dabeda Hern\u00e1ndez<\/a>. Roundtable II, centered on good governance and philanthropic activities, was moderated by Iolanda Latorre<\/a> and included Eugenia Bieto<\/a>, \u00c0ngel Font Vidal<\/a>, Xos\u00e9-Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez<\/a>, and Pablo Alvarez de Linera Granda<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The event brought together experts from the legal, institutional, and nonprofit sectors to discuss how taxation, incentives, and good governance practices contribute to maximizing the social impact of foundations and nonprofit organizations.<\/p>\n
