The spokesman for the Popular Party group, Jos\u00e9 Luis Mart\u00ednez-Almeida, was in charge of inaugurating this debate league, together with Germ\u00e1n Ruiz, Manager of ISDE.<\/p>\n
Twelve teams, accompanied by an adjudication group, competed in a day marked by democratic and educational values, respecting at all times the ideas of those who had to argue “In favor” and “Against” on the debate question: \u201cDoes the University Access Test have to be common for whole of Spain (EBAU)?”<\/p>\n
The San Sebasti\u00e1n de los Reyes district team won the first prize after a competitive final round.<\/p>\n
Germ\u00e1n Ruiz and Mart\u00ednez-Almeida highlighted during their speech at the opening remarks the importance of youth education within the political parties and how the debate, the exchange of ideas and arguments are the basis of a quality democracy.<\/p>\n
