BME Institute
Beatriz Alejandro Balet is currently Manager of BME Institute (the Training Department at BME, the operator of all the stock Markets and financial systems in Spain). She has Degree in Economics and Business Studies by Universidad de Zaragoza. She studied her last year in Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland, as part of the Erasmus program.
Since 1994 she has developed her professional career in MEFF, the Derivative Market in Spain. After a year and a half trading options and futures on the Ibex-35 Index, in 1996 she joins the Training Department where she becomes Manager in 2002. As MEFF integrates in BME, in 2005 she becomes Manager of BME Institute.
She has more than 20 years of experience teaching about financial markets, participating in BME Institute courses and collaborating with different Universities and Business Schools as well as developing in-house training for different companies.
Since 2013 she is member of the Board of BME Clearing and since 2015 she is President of MEFF Supervision and Surveillance Commission.
