The Spanish lawyer and professor of ISDE, José Juan Pintó will preside over the new Ethics Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), whose composition was approved this Wednesday in the general assembly that the organism celebrates in Tokyo.
The Commission, made up of six men and one woman, will ensure the good governance of the association and will work independently with ANOC, although it shares two of its directors: the Australian Kevan Gosper, Executive of ANOC, and the Papuan Karo Lelai.
José Juan Pintó is an arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS/CAS) and as such participated in the commissions created to mediate possible conflicts in the Vancouver Winter Games 2010 and the World Cup in South Africa, among other great events. He is also a speaker at the Sport Law & Management Convention.
