The course took place from March 18th to 25th at Wolfson College, and included lectures from the best professors from leading British Universities. Thanks to this initiative, master´s students of ISDE got to become familiar with current topics in the field of sports law, such as the main characteristics of the English legal system, Olympic law, the primary threats to modern sport: violence, doping and corruption, sports law from an Asian perspective, sport´s language and how to be a good agent, among others.
ISDE offers the possibility of attending this intensive weeklong course to students of the LLM in International Sports Law, Global Executive Master in International Sports Law, as well as professionals from the world of sports law, with the objective of forming a group of leading professionals.
This year´s course has been especially important, given that the Olympic Games will be held in London in 2012. In this vein, the students visited numerous emblematic institutions in the capital, such as West Ham United FC and the Olympic stadium.
